Spicy Egg Cake

The name of this recipe is a bit tricky as it says spicy as well as cake. Well, this recipe looks like a cake and its spicy so its named as SPICY EGG CAKE. Its a very delicious and above all an easy to make kind of dish. Kids are gonna love this . Here goes the recipe..

Ingredients :

2 eggs
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
2 green chillies (optional)
2 tbs red chilly powder
1/4  tbs garlic ginger paste
1/2 tbs coriander powder
1/4 tea spoon garam masala
Black pepper
Salt to taste.


Step 1 : In a pan heat oil then add onion ,green chillies in it.

Step 2 : When onion turn translucent add tomatoes in it along with all the dry masalas, salt and gg paste. Keep it on low flame for 5-7 Min's till the tomatoes are well cooked.

Step 3 : Once this is done  make 2 big holes (depending on your eggs, if you using 3 eggs make 3 holes) in the paste as shown below.

Step 4 : Break eggs in those holes. Sprinkle Black pepper and salt on it. Then close the lid for 5 Min's. Keep it on low flame.

Step 5 : Later remover the lid  break the yellow yoke and move the dish around so that the yoke spreads around the onion and tomato paste.

Step 6 : Then again close the lid let it cook on low flame for another 5-7 Min's. Later cut the cake into four half's and serve it with either bread or roti.
