Its Wednesday morning 04/29/09 time 8:04 a.m . Yesterday it was one of my friend's Birthday and so thy invited us for dinner at Dakshini restaurant. Had good time there . Did masti as usual. Today its my other friend's birthday and we have a small potluck kinda of thing in the noon. I will be making cake for her and will post that recipe in the evening. Before starting off the cake business i wanna post this recipe of Gobi Matar that i made last noon.
Ingredients :
2 cups gobi flowerets
1/2 cup matar
2 small onion chopped
2 small tomatoes chopped
Oil for frying
2 tbs red chilly powder
1 tbs dhaniya powder
1/2 tbs garam masala
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste.
Step 1 : Boil the Gobi adding salt in it for about 15 Min's, later drain out the water from it.
Step 2 : Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the Gobi.
Step 3 : Heat oil in a dish , later add chopped onion in it. Let the onions turn light brown in colour.
Step 4 : Later add the chopped tomatoes matar and all the dry masalas in it. Keep it on low flame for 10 Min's, keep stirring it in between.
Step 5 : Finally add the fried gobi in it. Let it be on low flame for another 10 Min's.
Step 6 : Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it with hot rotis.
