Sindhi Kadhi

Any Sindhi cuisine is incomplete without the delicious Sindhi Kadi, My husband falls for Sindhi food and whenever i make this kadi he sings " Jiya sindh jiyan sindhwara jiyan" :) . It’s very easy to make, I will show you how to make it just in 8 steps.

Ingredients:
· 2 large tomatoes
· 2 slit green chilli’s
· 1/4 tbs Methi seeds
· 6 tbs oil
· Curry leaves
· Jeera
· Small piece of ginger
· 3 pinch Hing
· 3 tbs besan (gram flour)
· Ladyfinger
· Okra (beendi)
· 2 tbs red chili powder
· 1/2 tbs coriander powder
· 1 pinch turmeric powder
· 2 tbs tamarind pulp
· Salt to taste
Serves 2-3

Step 1: Firstly, take 2 large tomatoes put in it cooker after 3 whistle put off the gas.


Step 2: Later peel of the skin and grind the tomatoes, once it’s done, add 1 glass of water to it and keep it aside.

Step 3: Take 2 slit green chillies; little cumin seeds (jeera) methi seeds, curry leaves, 1 inch ginger and little hing.

Step 4: In a dish add oil and add all the above ingredients in it.

Step 5: Add besan in it.


Step 6: keep stirring it till it turns light brown.

Step 7: later add the grounded tomatoes, lady’s finger , okra and all the dry masals to it, keep it on low flame and keep stirring it in between for 20 - 30 mins.


Step 8: Finally add the tamarind pulp in it, leave it on low flame for other 10 mins.


Your SINDHI KADHI is ready
