Lime Rice

Lemon Rice is a delicious South Indian dish you can easily put together when in a hurry. You can also make it with leftover rice. It’s a simple yet tasty meal.

Serves 2-3
Cooking time: 10 Min's (for left over rice)


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice cooked rice
  • 2 tbs oil
  • 1/2 tbs seamen seeds
  • Peanuts
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • 3 green chilly slit
  • 5 pinches of turmeric powder
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt to taste

Step 1: Cook 2 cups rice and let it cool down for 40 Min's.

Step 2: Keep peanuts, seamen seeds, slit green chilies curry leaves ready in a plate.

Step 3: In dish heat oil and all the above ingredients in it including turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt. Stir it for about 5 Min's. Finally add the cooked rice and mix it well on low flame.

Step 4: LIME RICE ready to eat.
