Peanut patties

A yummy Indian junk food delicacy, famous in northern India Peanut Pattice. People who are found of peanuts are “gonna go go gaga” over this recipe. These Patties can be served as appetizers, snacks, as a side dish or even can be placed in burgers.


Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes
  • 3/4 cup peanuts
  • 2 slit green chillies
  • 1 tbs red chilly powder
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 3 pinches of chat masala
  • coriander leaves
  • 2 tbs of lemon juice
  • 1 tbs corn flour or bread crumbs
  • salt to taste.

Serves 2 ( 10 patti)
Cooking time: 30 Min's



Step 1: Firstly, boil the potatoes later mash them add red chili powder. Turmeric powder, salt and chat masala mix it well and keep it aside.

Step 2: Roast the peanuts for 5 min's.

Step 3: Grind the peanuts, don’t grind it too much one round will do. Add chopped green chili, salt lemon juice and coriander leaves in it.

Step 4: Take small amount of smashed potato and add some grounded peanut in it as shown above.

Step 5: Now fold the Patti from the entire corner so that the grounded peanut gets stuffed in it. Make a ball shape out of it.


Step 6: Finally press the ball in the center so that it gets flatten. Then deep fry those, weight watchers can bake too.
Step 7: Serve these delicious Patties with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
